Power Platform Functional Consultant

As a Power Platform Functional Consultant at SMEx Digital, you will be an integral part of our exceptional team, driving the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Power Platform solutions for our clients. Based in Brisbane, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating workshops, understanding client requirements, configuring Power Platform solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for Power Platform solutions.
- Configure and customize Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), and Power BI to meet client-specific business processes and objectives.
- Lead workshops and discovery sessions to identify client needs and provide recommendations for Power Platform-based solutions.
- Facilitate thorough testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that Power Platform solutions are robust, reliable, and aligned with client requirements.
- Provide end-user training and support during solution deployment to ensure successful user adoption.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, solution architects, and project managers, to deliver high-quality Power Platform solutions.
- Keep abreast of the latest updates and best practices in the Power Platform ecosystem, and share knowledge with the team and clients.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in Power Platform implementations.
Key Skills/Competencies:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Functional Consultant, with a focus on Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing Power Platform solutions that meet business needs and drive positive outcomes.
- Strong expertise in configuring and customizing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to deliver effective business solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or related areas are highly desirable.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Functional Consultant, preferably in Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Self-driven and proactive, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Experience in working as part of a collaborative and exceptional team.
