D365 Power Platform Solution Architect

As a D365 Power Platform Solution Architect at SMEx Digital, you will be at the forefront of our Power Platform initiatives, leading the technical direction and driving innovation in D365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. Based in Brisbane, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact Power Platform solutions that empower our clients and position SMEx Digital as a trusted advisor in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Guide the team in delivering best-in-class solutions and driving continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop high-level Power Platform architecture and solution designs that align with the clients’ strategic goals.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring they follow best practices, adhere to industry standards, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive the innovation roadmap for Power Platform services, exploring new capabilities and technologies to enhance our offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
- Serve as a thought leader in the Power Platform space, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, and sharing insights with internal and external stakeholders through conferences, webinars, and industry forums.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on Power Platform strategy and recommending solutions that drive business value.
- Oversee the end-to-end project delivery of Power Platform solutions, from planning and scoping to implementation and post-implementation support, proactively identify and addressing project risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution and successful client engagements.
- Build strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
Key Skills/Competencies:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on D365 Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Power Platform projects that drive business transformation.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Strong understanding of D365 Customer Engagement (CRM) and integration with other Microsoft solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide project teams.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience as a thought leader, with a passion for driving innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or related areas are highly desirable.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, preferably in D365 Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for delivering innovative solutions.
- Self-driven and proactive, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
